New technology, specifically artificial intelligence, presents significant challenges for industry adoption. Leaders must first understand what the technology is capable of and then make a decision on whether it’s suitable for their particular business. For any leader, the time it takes to acquire this knowledge is a cost. Over the course of my career, I’ve seen various ways that leaders go about acquiring knowledge, and in this article, I’d like to cover three core approaches that I’ve seen work best.
